MOROCCO GEO TOURS AND FIELD TRIPS (DESERT ASTRO CAMP)

MOROCCO IS A GEOLOGISTS PARADISE . RICH IN FOSSILS AND MINERALS.

1. Morocco Geo Travel organise geological and paleontological field collecting trips . Guided and assisted by our expert’s geologists to discover quarries and mines in the Moroccan atlas and desert.

2. Regarding the transport : our vehicles are officially licensed Mitsubihi , Toyota 4x4 or similar , official taxi , with Air conditioning , and in good conditions.

3. Our tours are organised according to your interest. And your requirements. We can be flexible when possible. Your satisfaction is our aim. we offer you a high quality assistance and service.

Minimum : 2 personnes & maximum : 16 persons.

We take you at 8 a.m., from Desert Astro camp . and get you back at 17h.

We suggest you 3 options all departing from our desert Astro camp

OPTION A: SOUTH ERG CHEBBI . We will visit two old lead mines , cretaceous beds and Devonian beds . to collect ammonites , trilobites , shells , total 4 stops.

OPTION B: NORTH ERG CHEBBI . We will visit carboniferous beds , cretaceous beds , Devonian beds silurian beds , we will collect ammonites , fish bones , ammonites , bivalves , crinoids ,total 4 stops.

OPTION C: ALNIF ( TRILOBITES PARADISE ). We will visit mainly trilobites beds , Devonian , ordovicien and Cambrian . we will collect Devonian and Ordovician trilobites but no Cambrian.

Our price include :

A : Vehicle 4x4, gas & driver and guide geologist .

B : hammers to use for collecting fossils .

C : Mid-day pic nic in the field: bread + cheese + sardine + olives + fruit And mineral water.

2 to 3 person : 250 EUROS./person

4 person and more 100 euros / person
